Testimonial for Heat Packs
“Having
just come to the Osteopath for the first time and had some treatment, which in
itself has been fantastic, I was recommended to the heat-pack which I then took
home with me and have used consistently for the last two days and have found it
amazingly good.
It is very
easy to use, very comfortable. Once you
have put it on you can move around with it on and the results are marvelous.
It just
helps the process through and I would recommend it to everybody as it is an
easy, simple solution when you are at home, working, anywhere. It is unobtrusive and well worth having.”
Hilary O’rourke (59)
“I am just
saying how lovely I feel after I used the Heat Pack. I feel 10 times better – I have got 2 or 3 of
them now – one for my neck, one for my leg”.
Noreen Hannington (78)

To
freeze simply remove the slipcover and place the pack in a plastic bag in the
freezer until cold to the touch. The pack maintains flexibility even when
frozen.
Contrast
bathing – alternating between several minutes of hot and then cold and then hot
again, can be useful to stimulate blood flow in stiff muscles.
